House Dust Mites Test

Dust mites are one of the common allergens that can easily cause skin allergies and in severe cases, they can even lead to skin inflammation, asthma and other problems.

The purpose of Dust Mite Testing Service is to detect dust mites on household textiles (such as mattresses, sofas, and carpets), determine and assess the level of contamination of house dust mites at home. After the service, customers will receive a test report and our recommendations (related services and products) based on the results.

House Dust Mites are tiny, but their effect on us is huge. The allergic reaction of affected people is initiated by the excretion of the house dust mites. House dust mites can be found in any homes, they feed on dead skin which we all shed regularly. Even with a high sanitation environment, dust mites still can be found from mattresses, pillows, sofas and carpets.

Customers can choose objects that are suspected to have dust mites or items that are in close contact with them for testing. Generally, it is recommended to collect samples from fabric or textile objects. The suggested objects for testing include:

We will use a Miele Allergy Vacuum Cleaner to collect dust samples, which will be stored separately in sample collection bottles. The samples will then be sent to a Local Independent Laboratory for analysis (accredited by HOKLAS, fulfilling the testing and management requirements of ISO/IEC 17025).Clear and reliable test results can be obtained within 7-10 working days.
